ترامب وعبد الغني: يمكن لأمريكا المساعدة في تطوير المعادن النادرة بأفغانستان

(رويترز) – قال البيت الأبيض في بيان إن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب والرئيس الأفغاني أشرف عبد الغني اتفقا خلال اجتماع في نيويورك يوم الخميس على أن الشركات الأمريكية يمكنها أن تساعد في تطوير المعادن الأرضية النادرة في أفغانستان.

وأضاف “اتفقا على أن مبادرات كهذه ستساعد الشركات الأمريكية على تطوير معادن (SE:) مهمة بشدة للأمن القومي مع تنمية اقتصاد أفغانستان وخلق فرص عمل جديدة في البلدين وبالتالي تغطي بعضا من نفقات المساعدات الأمريكية إذ يصبح الأفغان أكثر اعتمادا على أنفسهم”.

وجاء في البيان أن الزعيمين أعربا أيضا عن التزامهما بالتنفيذ الكامل لاستراتجية ترامب الجديدة لجنوب آسيا بهدف هزيمة الإرهاب.
