شرطة ميامي بيتش تقتل سيدة تجاوزت الإشارة الحمراء

(رويترز) – قال قائد شرطة مدينة ميامي بيتش الأمريكية إن رجال الشرطة أطلقوا النار على امرأة فأردوها قتيلة بعدما اصطدمت سيارتها بعربة أخرى ثم أصابت شرطيا بينما كانت تحاول الفرار.

وقال قائد الشرطة دانييل أوتيس إن المرأة كانت تقود سيارة بي.إم.دبليو وكانت مسرعة عندما تجاوزت الإشارة الحمراء وصدمت مركبة أخرى مساء يوم الأحد في قلب المنطقة السياحية لميامي بيتش.

وأضاف أنها حاولت الهرب وصدمت شرطيا، وعندها فتحت الشرطة النار عليها.

وتابع أن المرأة تلقت العلاج في موقع الحادث لكنها توفيت فيما بعد.

وقال أوتيس إن حالة الشرطي الذي صدمته السيدة مستقرة وهو موجود بالمستشفى. ولم يتم الكشف عن اسم السيدة أو أسماء رجال الشرطة.
