وكالة الانتخابات: بينيرا يتصدر سباق انتخابات الرئاسة في تشيلي

سانتياجو (رويترز) – قالت وكالة الانتخابات في تشيلي إن المرشح المحافظ سيباستيان بينيرا يتصدر نتائج انتخابات الرئاسة التي أجريت في البلاد يوم الأحد.

وبعد فرز 67.07 في المئة من الأصوات حصل بينيرا على 54.4 في المئة بينما حصل المرشح المنتمي لتيار يسار الوسط اليخاندرو جيليير على 45.6 في المئة من الأصوات.

وسيواصل المرشحان تطبيق نموذج اقتصاد السوق الذي تنتهجه تشيلي منذ فترة طويلة لكن بينيرا وعد بخفض الضرائب لتحفيز النمو في حين يريد جيليير أن تمضي الحكومة قدما في سياسات الرئيسة المنتهية ولايتها ميشيل باشيليت المتعلقة بإصلاح نظم التعليم والضرائب والعمل.
