الجيش الأمريكي: ضربات جوية تقتل 5 من متشددي القاعدة في اليمن

واشنطن (رويترز) – قال الجيش الأمريكي يوم الجمعة إنه نفذ ضربات جوية في 20 من نوفمبر تشرين الثاني في محافظة البيضاء اليمنية أسفرت عن مقتل خمسة متشددين من فرع تنظيم القاعدة هناك بينهم مجاهد العدني الذي وصفه بأنه أحد قادة التنظيم.

وقالت القيادة الوسطى بالجيش الأمريكي في بيان “كان العدني يتمتع بنفوذ كبير في تنظيم القاعدة في جزيرة العرب فضلا عن علاقاته الوثيقة مع زعماء كبار آخرين في التنظيم”.
