بيان: الحكومة العراقية توافق على استيراد المزيد من الغاز الطبيعي من إيران

بغداد (رويترز) – قالت الحكومة العراقية في بيان يوم الثلاثاء إنها وافقت على اتفاق لاستيراد من إيران إلى محافظة ديالى على الحدود الشرقية للبلاد، لتزيد بذلك مشتريات الغاز الإيراني التي بدأت في وقت سابق هذا العام.

وبدأت إيران تصدير الغاز إلى العراق في يونيو حزيران بعد تأخيرات استمرت بضعة أعوام. ووقع البلدان، العضوان في منظمة أوبك، اتفاقا في 2013 تقوم بموجبه إيران بتوريد الغاز إلى محطات عراقية للكهرباء، لكن التنفيذ تأخر بسبب ما عزاه مسؤولون في السابق إلى ضعف الأمن في العراق.
