وزيرة خارجية كندا تعتبر تمديد محادثات نافتا أنباء سارة

واشنطن (رويترز) – وصفت وزيرة الخارجية الكندية كريستيا فريلاند يوم الثلاثاء تمديد الولايات المتحدة والمكسيك وكندا مهلة للتوصل لاتفاق لتحديث اتفاقية التجارة الحرة لأمريكا الشمالية (نافتا) بأنها أنباء سارة على الرغم من وجود خلافات كبيرة بين الشركاء الثلاثة.

وأبلغت فريلاند الصحفيين في ختام أسبوع من المحادثات عقدت قرب واشنطن “نحن مستعدون لتكريس الوقت اللازم للوصول إلى اتفاقية جيدة”.

وفي وقت سابق يوم الثلاثاء وافقت الدول الثلاث على تمديد موعد نهاية المفاوضات إلى مارس آذار 2018 بدلا من نهاية ديسمبر كانون الأول.
