مسلحون يقتلون عميد بلدية مصراتة في ليبيا

طرابلس (رويترز) – قال مسؤولون أمنيون إن مسلحين قتلوا بالرصاص عميد بلدية مصراتة، ثالث أكبر ليبيا، في وقت متأخر يوم الأحد بعد أن نصبوا كمينا لسيارته داخل المدينة.

وانزلقت ليبيا إلى الفوضى منذ انتفاضة 2011 التي أطاحت بمعمر القذافي لكن مصراتة، أكبر موانئ ليبيا، تنعم بالسلام إلى حد كبير حتى الآن.

وقال مسؤول أمني إن المسلحين لاحقوا سيارة عميد البلدية محمد اشتيوي بعد أن غادر مطار مصراتة عقب وصوله على طائرة قادمة من تركيا. وأضاف أن السلطات لم تعرف الجهة التي تقف وراء الحادث.

وفي أكتوبر تشرين الأول انفجرت قنبلة في محكمة المدينة مما أدى إلى مقتل أربعة أشخاص وإصابة 40 آخرين في هجوم أعلن تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية مسؤوليته عنه.

وتقع مصراتة على بعد 200 كيلومتر إلى الشرق من طرابلس وهي بوابة للغذاء وغيرها من الواردات إلى ليبيا.
