حركة الشباب الصومالية تقول إنها قتلت 17 في هجوم بقاعدة عسكرية خارج العاصمة

مقديشو (رويترز) – قالت حركة الشباب الصومالية إن مسلحيها هاجموا قاعدة عسكرية خارج العاصمة باستخدام سيارات ملغومة وأسلحة مما أسفر عن مقتل 17 جنديا وإنها سيطرت على القاعدة وعلى بلدة قريبة بينما أكد سكان ومسؤولون وقوع الهجوم.

وقال عبد العزيز أبو مصعب المتحدث العسكري باسم الحركة لرويترز يوم الجمعة إن بعد صلاة الصبح اقتحم اثنان من “المجاهدين” قاعدة برير العسكرية بسيارات ملغومة يقودها انتحاريون وأضاف أن الحركة قتلت 17 جنديا واستولت على سبع مركبات.

وتقع برير على بعد 50 كيلومترا جنوب غربي مقديشو.

وأكد علي نور نائب حاكم منطقة شبيلي السفلى حيث تقع برير وقوع اشتباكات لكنه لم يذكر تفاصيل عن الخسائر البشرية.
