مقتل 12 على الأقل من الشرطة الأفغانية في انفجار سيارة بقندهار

كابول (رويترز) – قال مسؤول حكومي إن ما لا يقل عن 12 من أفراد الشرطة الأفغانية قتلوا وأصيب أربعة عندما صدمت مركبة همفي ملغومة نقطة تفتيشهم في إقليم قندهار بجنوب البلاد في وقت متأخر يوم الأربعاء.

وقال عبد الباري باريالاي المتحدث باسم حكومة الإقليم إن الهجوم وقع في منطقة معروف المتاخمة لباكستان.

ويسلط الهجوم، الذي وقع في إحدى معاقل طالبان، الضوء على المخاطر التي تواجهها قوات الأمن الأفغانية ولا سيما وحدات الشرطة في الصفوف الأمامية للمعركة ضد المتشددين الذين يسيطرون أو يسعون للسيطرة على نحو 40 في المئة من أفغانستان.

ووقع الهجوم في نفس اليوم الذي هاجم فيه متشددون مطار كابول بينما كان وزير الدفاع الأمريكي جيم ماتيس يزور العاصمة.
