الأمم المتحدة: الفارون من أزمة فنزويلا يستحقون المعاملة كلاجئين

جنيف (رويترز) – قالت المفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين في إرشادات محدثة أصدرتها يوم الثلاثاء إن الفنزويليين الفارين من الأزمة المتدهورة في بلدهم يستحقون الحماية كلاجئين.

ودعت المفوضية دول العالم إلى عدم ترحيل الفنزويليين أو إجبارهم على العودة إلى بلدهم.

وذكرت أن نحو 3.7 مليون شخص غادروا فنزويلا، معظمهم في عام 2015. وقالت ليز ثروسيل المتحدثة باسم المفوضية في إفادة صحفية “من المهم جدا مع الوضع (الحالي) في فنزويلا ألا تتم (عمليات) ترحيل أو طرد أو إجبار على العودة”.
